The Digital Imaging branch of Sony Electronics has 100's of products under it. Sony DI asked us to create a training app to acquaint employees and retailers with the category, make and model of each product.

In order to detail the wealth of technologies within the Cyber-shot product line we began by describing each feature using approved Sony marketing language and employing rich photography and illustration throughout the beginning of the guide. We then showcased each specific model, page by page, in even greater detail. The result is a broad yet cohesive guide that outlines every aspect of the Cyber-shot and Handycam product lines.

Moving the traditional print training guide into the realm of an interactive application for tablets affords viewers a richer experience that increases interest and information retention. The ability to elevate the learning experience is evident in situations where we go beyond a static image detailing a certain technology to a moving image that presents a complicated technology in a more understandable way.
